April, 2014.VISUAL IDENTITY for POLYESTER — a studio of front end developers that has been around since the dawn of markup language. The assignment includes a logotype, patterns, stationery, and a custom typeface.

Polyester started out in the mid 90’s and are extremely experienced among front-end developers. At the same time they are still experimenting and consider themselves progressive within their field. The logotype is based on the three most frequent characters in coding </>. Thousands of front-end studios have used them in their identities but, as far as we know, no-one has ever combined them to create type. The result is a runic-like typeface which looks fittingly ancient.
